Contego is a web based application that provides a software solution relevant to
managing information and the problems that occur prior to, during and post-disaster. Contego does not require an internet connection to work and there are no client installations.
Contego was built to operate on the stable Free and Open Source technology stack ( Apache MySQL/MSSQL, Perl).
It has been tested to work on GNU/Linux, Windows and Mac OSX operating systems. It has been designed, with collaboration from current clients, to help communities where and when they need it.
How can Contego help you?
Contego can be used proactively, prior to a disaster, by populating relevant taskforce details and skillsets, assets, and other important
information to be used in this event. If a disaster were to occur, Contego can be used by the taskforce to manage the disaster, assets and resources, by the public to search missing persons, volunteer skills and keep up with latest news and by External/State/National agencies to aid in the disaster at hand.
Contego offers a software solution aimed at maximising communication to all affected parties and supplying the taskforce with the information they need to manage the situation at hand.
